McNET Smartie ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application and services.

Information We Collect

Our app collects the following information:

• Location Data: We access your device's location when you use the Module Rental feature to display your position on the map and save module locations. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Alexa Integration Messages: When you use the Alexa Integration feature, the text message you type is sent to our backend server along with a temporary 3-digit access code. This data is stored temporarily (maximum 1 hour) and is automatically deleted after Alexa reads it or after the session expires.

How We Use Your Information

• Location Data: Used solely to display your position on the map and help you add module locations. We do not track, store, or share your location with third parties.
• Alexa Messages: Temporarily stored to enable the voice assistant integration. Messages are deleted automatically after 1 hour and are never shared with third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Alexa integration messages are stored in-memory on our server and are automatically purged after 1 hour. We do not persist this data to any database or long-term storage. We implement reasonable security measures to protect the limited data we handle.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses OpenStreetMap for map display. Please refer to OpenStreetMap's Privacy Policy for information on their data practices.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
